HUNTERS PLAZA IS CLOSED, EXCEPT FOR ESSENTIAL SERVICES

Update: 13th May 2020

Following the Government’s announcement on Monday New Zealand will be moving into Alert Level 2, we are excited to let you know that the Centre will re-open this Thursday, 14th May 2020 at 9.00am.

During Level 2 some of our retailer trading hours may differ.  Please contact retailer’s directly from this Thursday to find out individual store trading hours.  All phone numbers can be found on our website https://www.huntersplaza.co.nz/our-stores/.

To ensure we provide every opportunity for businesses to come back as strong as possible we will be open normal hours from this Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm daily, and 10am to 4.30pm on Sundays. Until further notice, there will be no late night trade on Thursdays, Countdown will close at 9pm daily and Kmart will return back to their normal midnight close time.

We have recently completed a deep clean of all common areas, and we will continue our focus on cleaning once we re-open by ensuring all high-touch areas are sanitised every hour.  Hand sanitizer dispensers are currently being installed at all entrances for customers to use upon entry, and we will continue to monitor our processes closely to ensure your safety and well-being.

Please continue to follow the health guidelines set by the World Health Organisation and Ministry of Health.  We ask that you do not visit the Plaza if you are unwell, or if you have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.

You should:

  • Stay home if you feel unwell (ask a family member/friend to shop for you)
  • Try to keep 2 metres away from others at all times
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds)
  • Cough/sneeze into your elbow, or use a tissue

For health advice/information on the COVID-19 illness visit https://www.health.govt.nz or call Healthline on 0800 358 5453.

We will keep you updated with any changes at Hunters Plaza.
